Count the Pumpkin Seeds activity helps with number recognition and counting.
MAKE IT MORE HANDS ON:
1. Cover the pumpkin images on the worksheet with a piece of paper. Put real pumpkin seeds next to each set of numbers. Have your child count the pumpkin seeds and mark the correct number. This also allows you to switch up the number of pumpkin seeds to make this activity go even further.
2. Spread out some pumpkin seeds on a tray or table and let your child scoop them in small groups. Have your child count the group of pumpkin seeds, then have them place the group into a separate bowl once they are finished counting.
