In this Lucky Charms graph activity, preschoolers can explore concepts such as sorting, categorizing, and counting while having fun with colorful cereal marshmallows. Your child can also practice writing if they are ready.
This activity is not only perfect for St. Patrick's Day but also for any time you want to introduce your child to the basics of graphing.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Lucky Charms cereal
- Plate to put the cereal on
- Marker or pencil
- Lucky Charms Graph pages
WHAT TO DO:
Pour the Lucky Charms on a plate.
Have your child put the marshmallows next to the images on the graph.
Once they have placed all of the marshmallows, ask your child the questions on the second page. Help your child if they are not able to write in the answers.
