Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

English pilgrims traveled to Massachusetts from England on the Mayflower.
Native American Indians helped the pilgrims raise and grow food.

It is believed that the first Thanksgiving was held in 1621 when the Pilgrims celebrated a successful harvest with Native American Indians.

Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated by gathering with friends and family around food to express our gratitude for all we have.

We share a special meal, usually including a turkey and other traditional side dishes like stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, gravy, and pumpkin pie.
