Rainbow Rice Sensory Activity for Kids
I've been seeing people make this and finally made it with my kids.
One thing I have learned with having kids is that even though you spend a lot of time and money on a project, they are only usually into it for about 15 minutes... if you are lucky. And, it isn't going to come out like you imagine it in your head or how you saw the craft on Pinterest! LOL!!!
Coming to that realization made my life a lot less stressful!
So back to the Rainbow Rice....
What you need:
Scoop 1 cup of into zip lock bags.
Add about 7 drops of food coloring and 1 teaspoon of water to rice.
Get all of the air out of the bag and seal it.
Let the kids play with it until it is will mixed.
Lay it out to dry on cookie sheets or any surface.
Optional: Add essential oils for therapeutic sensory play.
