WHAT YOU NEED:
- Flashcards
- Tape
- Timer or a friend
WHAT TO DO:
Tape the flashcards of your choice to a wall. Spread them out and make sure they are at your child's eye level.
Start at the first flashcard and walk along the wall, reciting each one perfectly as they pass.
Time your child and see if they can beat their time with each round. Mix up the flashcards to keep it challenging.
Do this activity with a friend and see who can get the best time.
And there you have it! Race Against Time is more than just a high-speed showdown. It's a way for your child to engage with learning in a fun and active way, boosting their reading and numerical skills while having a blast. After all, the only thing better than learning is learning through play.
