Starting preschool at home can feel overwhelming. You might be wondering what to teach first, how much to do each day, or whether you’re doing enough.
The first thing I want you to know is this:
There is no perfect way to homeschool preschool.
Young children learn best through play, conversations, books, hands-on activities, and exploring the world around them. Instead of trying to recreate a classroom, I encourage parents to provide opportunities to learn while following their child’s interests with gentle guidance.
Some days your child may want to spend an hour learning about bugs. Other days they may be excited to paint, build, or practice letters. That’s okay. Preschool doesn’t have to fit into a perfect schedule to be meaningful.
So where should you start? Here are 4 curriculum and activity options to start with first.
Option 1: You Want a Little Bit of Everything
