Follow these habits to help give your days structure!

1. SET GOALS!
It’s important to set goals whether it be daily goals or weekly goals or even monthly goals. You can set goals for around the house, to finish certain projects with your kids or goals for spending time with your spouse.

Whatever the goal, it’s important to set them and accomplish them so that you can feel that accomplishment because sometimes being a stay-at-home mom can feel super hectic and like nothing is ever getting done!

2. HAVE A ROUTINE
Having a routine can help give each day structure!  I have found this to be super helpful.  I know some things may seem obvious like brushing your teeth or taking a shower but a routine helps the day not slip away so that you can fit everything in.

3. PRACTICE SELF CARE
You can completely lose yourself when you become a mom. You take on so many jobs that taking care of yourself gets put on the back burner.

You can do little things each day like:
Go for a walk, put make up on, take a shower without kids....
Or you can do weekly or monthly things like:
Have a girls night out, get a pedicure, get your hair done, take a bath...

4. SPEND 1:1TIME WITH YOUR SPOUSE
It is extremely important for you to make time for date night.  This helps with communication and staying connected with your spouse which will also help you to be better parents!

5. MAKE MOM FRIENDS
The easiest way I have made mom friends is through MOMS Club. MOMS Club is an international organization so if you go on their website you can see if they have a group in your city.  It’s super helpful to have mom friends because we are all going through the same struggles!   nice to have people to talk to who are in your same shoes.

6. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH YOUR KIDS
Whether you are playing dolls or trucks, coloring, doing a craft, watching tv together or having your kids help you clean, as long as you are giving them your undivided attention, that is all that matters.

Time goes so fast... Make sure you are taking out time for quality time!
