WHAT YOU NEED:
Food coloring: Several drops of each color.
Vinegar: 1 Tbs per color
White rice: 1 c per color
Ziplock bags: 1 for every color
Plates or a baking sheet

WHAT TO DO:
In each Ziplock bag put 1 cup of white rice, 1 Tbs of vinegar, and several drops of food coloring.

Each bag should have a different color.  For example, 1 bag for red, 1 bag for orange, 1 bag for yellow, etc.

Seal the bags shut and mix the food coloring around.

Dump each bag out onto a baking sheet or onto plates to dry.

It will take a couple of hours for the rice to dry.

Once dry, put it into a bin for sensory play.
