In case your little one's quest for knowledge is boundless, I've got the ultimate game to both entertain and educate – the Box Game!  In this game, your preschooler will dive into the magical realms of the alphabet, colors, numbers, rhyming, shapes, and sight words!

WHAT YOU NEED:
WHAT TO DO:
Gather a small container, box, or paper bag.  Grab your subject and 'x' tiles.  Print a few sets!
Pop the subject tiles and the 'x' tiles into your container of choice.
Let your child pull out a tile. If they know what the tile says, it's a keeper! If not, back it goes.
But, should they draw an 'x', some or all their tiles need to go back. It depends on how challenging you want this game to be for your little one.
The goal? Reach 10 correct tiles before anyone else. The sense of competition is fantastic for little ones and helps them learn to aim high!

And that's it, you're ready to roll (or should I say pull?) with educational fun.

Choose one of these questions to ask your child while playing:

ALPHABET
What letter is this?
Is the tile uppercase or lowercase
What sound does it make?
What word starts with that sound?

COLORS
What color is this?
What is something else that is this color?

NUMBERS
What number is this?
Can you count to this number?

RHYMING
Can you rhyme with this word?

SHAPES
What shape is this?
What is something else that is this shape?

SIGHT WORDS
What is the sight word?
Can you use the sight word in a sentence?

Not only is this game great for boosting their knowledge, but it also hones their cognitive and fine motor skills.
This box game makes the journey playful, interactive, and best of all, a blast they'll beg to revisit time and time again.

This is one of the activities from my activity book: Pre-K The Fun Way
The book contains many fun and engaging activities that help your child learn while having fun.
